Are adidas Yeezys Coming Back In 2023?

Are adidas Yeezys Coming Back In 2023?

Update: 11th May 2023

Good news for Yeezy lovers! Adidas have announced that they will sell the remaining Yeezy stock with Kanye set to receive his 15% royalties. In an attempt to save image, they have stated 'some' of the proceeds will be going to charity.

Update: 27th February 2023

Following the news last week that adidas were set to lose out on $1.3 billion in revenue from their split with Kanye, it has been reported that Ye and adidas have reached an agreement to release unsold Yeezy inventory in the near future. It is unclear, however, if any new Yeezys will be manufactured following the sale of existing stock. The partnership is set to make a grand comeback, starting with the re-release of the Yeezy Boost 350 V1 "Pirate Black", which first dropped in August 2015.

Many sneaker enthusiasts have been questioning if Adidas Yeezys will be dropping again in 2023, following the dissolution of adidas and Kanye West's partnership in November 2022.

It’s no secret that adidas Yeezys are one of the most sought-after sneakers on the market, and the demand for them has only grown since their initial release in 2015.

The good news for Yeezy sneaker fans is that, according to various reports, adidas Yeezys are likely to come back in 2023. This is because it has been reported that adidas are sitting on $500 million in unsold Yeezy inventory, which they cannot afford to discard. Adidas also owns the patents for most Yeezy models, so they can release the shoes without involving Ye. However, the shoes will no longer be labeled as Yeezys and will instead have names such as adidas 350s and adidas 700s.

Latest rumours are that the adidas 350 V2 'Granite' will be the first non-Yeezy 350 to drop.

Yeezy Slide fans, we have bad news for you. Unless Adidas is prepared to take the legal risk or Kanye West produces Yeezy Slides himself, it is unlikely that these shoes will be released in the near future since Adidas does not hold the patent for them.

Of course, nothing is certain until Adidas officially announces drop dates. However, it’s safe to say that the chances of Adidas Yeezys coming back in 2023 are looking pretty good.
